2018 Investor Recruitment Event

On April 19, 2018, the Investor Relations Committee of Team Volusia EDC hosted a private “Cocktails and Conversation” reception at Stonewood Grill and Tavern at the LPGA location in Daytona Beach. Fifteen potential investors attended the event, along with Team Volusia staff, Officers, Elected Officials and members of the Investor Relations Committee. 

Lassiter Transportation Group and Intracoastal Bank co-sponsored the event which secured five (5) new investors. Three investors joined at the Ambassador Level: Vision H.R. Inc., Vann Data Services and Zgraph, Inc., which were subsequently approved at the Board of Directors meeting held on April 24, 2018. In addition, Security First and O’Connor Capital Partners have submitted applications for investment at the Partner Level, which will be voted by the Board of Directors at their next meeting on July 12, 2018. The event not only attracted more investors, it also helped develop relationships with local companies/businesses that were unaware of Team Volusia EDC’s role in the community.  Staff has also had follow up meetings with other participants and expect to see more future investment from the private sector.
