At the suggestion of Daytona Beach City Manager Jim Chisholm, Keith Norden attended the world's largest medical technology show in Düsseldorf, Germany in November. The show had more than 5,100 exhibitors. Our growing medical device sector was promoted among prospects by Norden and Daytona Beach Representative Mary Dougherty. Specifically, they cited B. Braun's $130 capital investment, DaVita Labs $30 million capital investment and other medical related recent expansions in west Volusia County.
