Chris Wimsatt attended the SEMA Show which took place October 31 - November 3, 2017 at the Las Vegas Convention Center. The SEMA Show is the premier automotive specialty products trade event in the world. It drew the industry’s brightest minds and hottest products to one place, the Las Vegas Convention Center. In addition, the SEMA Show provided attendees with educational seminars, product demonstrations, special events, networking opportunities and more.
The 2016 SEMA Show drew more than 60,000 domestic and international buyers, manufacturers, marketers, and a myriad of other operations connected to the automotive industry. In preparation for the event Team Volusia EDC had a unique opportunity to partner with NASCAR, an obvious major player within the automotive segment, by leveraging their brand and operations within Volusia County as a catalyst for business recruitment activities. Team Volusia and NASCAR continue to collaborate and explore areas of opportunity that could lead to job growth for the area.
