Keith Norden attended the Industrial Asset Management Council (IAMC) Fall Professional Forum held in Philadelphia in October. IAMC is unique in the industrial real estate industry. It is one of the few organizations to carefully balance membership ratios across corporate real estate executives, economic developers, and service providers. The forum topics focused on industry shifts to more flexible manufacturing including Technology, Workforce, Site Selection and Supply Management.
Team Volusia EDC returned as a sponsor of the 2018 Fall Professional Forum. Keith Norden and Team Volusia were warmly recognized from the podium by IAMC Vice Chair Colleen Caravati, Director of Corporate Real Estate, Corning, Inc., who is a proud Daytona Beach native.
Team Volusia continues to be an investor in the Team Florida Marketing Partnership which hosted an evening event for top producing site location consultants. Keith joined senior Enterprise Florida leadership and other Team Florida partners in hosting over 20 site selectors for the private reception and dinner.
Keith was recognized as an IAMC Fellow last October during the IAMC Spring Professional Forum and joins 150 IAMC Fellows worldwide. He is one of the original charter members of IAMC and remains an active participant in the organization since its inception in 2002. There is currently a two-to-three year wait list to join as an economic development organization due to the limited ratio of corporate real estate executives, service providers, and economic development organizations.
