Printech Circuit Laboratories a leading space industry supplier based in the UK has leased office space at the MicaPlex on the campus of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Printech Circuit Laboratories has been supplying the space industry for more than 30 years with hand-crafted, custom components that are suitable for a wide range of specialized applications including Formula One race cars and NASCAR, communications satellites such as Intersat-4 and space missions for the European Space agency and NASA, including the James Webb Space Telescope. The company projects generation plans to create 51 new jobs over a five-year period with a capital investment for equipment expected to be $8 million. Team Volusia first met executives of the company at Satellite 2019, a major trade show in Washington DC. While they had been focused on another location, they pivoted to the Volusia County location after an invitation to visit Volusia County and a tour of the area shortly after the trade show. Yet another example of the importance of Team Volusia participating in major forums such as Satellite and working with a myriad of community partners to win this project for Volusia County.
