TVEDC President and CEO Keith Norden were among Florida's economic development authorities addressing the Florida Senate Appropriations Committee recently. In his comments, Norden underscored the importance of a strong statewide economic development program and the importance of the partnerships between Enterprise Florida and local economic development organizations. He spoke of the need to present Florida as a pro-business state nationally and globally. Norden also attended a meeting of the Florida House Careers & Competition Subcommittee, which met to discuss economic development programs and present a unied voice in support of Enterprise Florida, Visit Florida and Small Business Development Center offices.
