Marketing Program Outlined

Successful marketing requires creative messaging and precision placement. Recommendations from Atlas Advertising, a rm that specializes in working with economic development organizations, provided a blueprint for marketing Volusia County as a host for business and industry. TVEDC Directors and Investors got a glimpse of the Atlas program at the organization's February meeting at the Brannon Civic Center in New Smyrna Beach. Of the forty recommendations, work on several has already begun. These include materials designed to keep investors informed of TVEDC activities; increased use of social media to communicate progress on various projects; creation of industry-specic marketing literature; website content development; and a business operations video. These recommendations are being woven into a new library of literature and digital materials that are being produced locally.
