Dear Investor or Community Partner,
While one might have predicted a quiet third quarter on the business front, project activity and pipeline movement continued to soar. All in-person Team Volusia events and meetings were well-attended. On September 21st, the Volusia County Council unanimously approved its renewal of its $250,000 investment. The approval is for three years, subject to an annual review by council. I was joined by Team Volusia Chair Jordan Jiloty who offered opening remarks before my review of the funding request presentation. In addition, I am happy to report that all contracts with Volusia County municipalities were approved.
Special thanks go to Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University for hosting our August 6th Board meeting and we thank its Senior Vice President Dr. Randall Howard for his warm welcome. In addition, we thank the City of DeLand for hosting our well-attended October 8th Board meeting at the Sanborn Center in the heart of downtown DeLand. DeLand Mayor Robert Apgar greeted the attendees on behalf of the city and his colleagues.
Needless to say, it has been an exciting and exhilarating quarter – and this newsletter captures a few of the highlights. Please read on for interesting information and news you can use:
Thank you for your continued support.
Respectfully,
